Miniatures in Berlin (part 3)

Third instalment of photos from the Arikalex Museum in Berlin!  Another fabulously detailed Mulvany and Rogers House is the Palazzo Vendramin Calergi based on the real palace built during the early Renaissance era.  Such atmosphere in every room, and wonderful lighting.  The windows were amazing.

There are also some room boxes, including this great Jugendstil/Art Nouveau room box based on Gaudi's Casa Batllo in Barcelona, Spain.

Hello Josje, thanks for your comments, I have been reading your blog for a long time and absolutely love your house - look forward to seeing your work on the new one. The museum doesn't seem very well publicised, not mentioned in any of the guide books. I only found it by chance by Googling for miniatures in Berlin!

Hi Andy, we had the museum to ourselves and were able to spend as long as we liked there - just had to turn off the lights and lock the door as we left. Hope you manage to get there some day!
